So as I've mentioned, birthday cards are some of my favorite to make. Probably the ones I am most comfortable with making. Plus, I find myself making them often, since there are many people in my life (spoiler alert - they all have birthdays).

I liked how this card (above) had come out. I had found a similar design on Pinterest, but I can't seem to find it to link it - apparently I didn't add it to any of my boards. The black stars are from the center of the die-cut image on the front. After painting the stars with the clear-silver Wink of Stella, I added clear acrylic to give them some dimension. The starburst die is from Stampin' Up Birthday Blast bundle, and the silver stars are brads from Recollections.
The blue and white birthday card was made for my sister using a boarder die from Spellbinders small August Die-of-the-Month Club. I really LOVE the Die-of-the-Month club. The dies in it are always very nice, and Spellbinders puts up tutorials and pictures on ways to use them. This was the design I did, but the ombre design I borrowed from the Spellbinders idea. They used yellow, orange, and red, but I really liked the blues.
This card (above, pink) was not made for anyone in particular. I just liked to keep cards on hand in case a birthday comes up that I don't keep track of. As I look at it in this picture, I can see that it really isn't centered, but it's all right. To make it, I cut out a rectangle from sheet of paper and laid it over the blank A2 card. Then I taped down some circle cut outs. Using Worn Lipstick, a color from the Tim Holtz distress collection, I blended the color onto the card using a round foam blender.
The small dots and the circle outlines are both from the Let's Bokah set by Lawn Fawn. I don't remember which stamp set the happy birthday came from, sadly. It may have been a wood-mounted rubber stamp by Hero Arts (but I'm not entirely sure).
